Directions:
Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 325ยบ F. Place the frozen pie crust in a standard pie dish and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from oven and set aside.
Make the Filling: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine 4 tablespoons butter and heavy cream. Heat until the butter is melted. Whisk in cornstarch and sugar, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens, about 6-7 minutes.
Add Flavorings: Stir in the maple syrup, maple extract, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well incorporated.
Assemble the Pie: Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust. Drizzle with melted butter.
Prepare the Topping: Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle evenly over the pie filling.
